Corinne Bailey Rae on kiertänyt ympäri maailmaa promoamassa tänään Suomessakin julkaistavaa “The Sea” –albumiaan. Ylistäviä arvioita saanut albumi on tällä hetkellä USA:n iTunesin albumilistan sijalla 4. ja levy on noussut Japanin albumilistan sijalle 12. Corinne on tammikuun aikana esiintynyt mm. Ellen Degeneres-, Tavis Smiley- ja The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson -tv-ohjelmissa. Lisäksi Rae on nostettu mm. Billboardin, Saturday Telegraphin ja Daily Mirrorin -kansijutuiksi. Multipalkittu debyyttialbumi

Englantilaisen laulajan ja lauluntekijänä Corinne Bailey Raen “The Sea” –albumi on jatkoa vuonna 2006 julkaistulle “Corinne Bailey Rae” –debyyttialbumille. Corinnen ylistetty esikoisalbumi kahmi palkintoja mm. Q–, Mojo–, MOBO-, Image- ja Grammy Awardseissa. Grammy-palkinto myönnettin vuonna 2007 Vuoden albumi –sarjassa ja tämän lisäksi Bailey Rae oli ehdokkaana Vuoden kappale- ja Vuoden artistitulokas –sarjoissa. Corinne Bailey Rae oli ensimmäinen brittiläinen naisartisti vuosikymmeniin, jonka debyyttialbumi nousi Billboardin Top 20 -listalle.
